Deck overview

This is a Grixis reanimator midrange deck helmed by Sauron, Lord of the Rings. The plan is classic: dump expensive bombs into the graveyard with loot effects and mills, then cheat them onto the battlefield with cheap reanimation. The commander packages this cleanly-on cast he amasses Orcs 5, mills five, and reanimates a creature-while also providing a 9/9 trampler. Primary wins come from combat with reanimated haymakers (Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Sheoldred, Whispering One, the Smaugs, The Balrog of Moria) backed by Army tokens, plus one-shot closers like Insurrection and Torment of Hailfire. Secondary angles include theft (Breach the Multiverse, Grave Betrayal, Hostage Taker) and attrition via amass and Ring temptation. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins by resolving oversized threats and converting them into table-wide damage or resource denial.
