Deck overview

Chatterfang is the board-wide token multiplier and sacrifice outlet that defines the deck. The primary plan is to convert every token generator into a growing Squirrel army, then close with anthem effects such as Beastmaster Ascension, Eldrazi Monument, or Deep Forest Hermit, or with death-trigger drain from Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat. The sharpest alternate path is the Ivy Lane Denizen + Scurry Oak loop, which creates arbitrarily many Squirrels and an arbitrarily large Scurry Oak; Chatterfang's activated ability can sacrifice those Squirrels to trigger drain effects on the spot. Hazel of the Rootbloom and token doublers give the deck extra reach. There is no hidden commander; the list is fully built around Chatterfang.
