Deck overview

Loot, the Anomaly leads a mono-black Voltron strategy centered on turning negative power into lethal combat damage. Since Loot deals combat damage as though his power were positive whenever it drops below zero, debuff cards like Belbe's Armor, Despondency, Greel's Caress, and Weakstone function as massive power boosts. The deck pairs this offensive engine with asymmetric combat stax, using Ensnaring Bridge and Meekstone to disable opposing attackers while negative-power Loot attacks unimpeded. Token generators such as Bitterblossom and Ophiomancer provide steady sacrifice fodder for Loot's threshold ability. A high-ceiling synergy with Agatha's Soul Cauldron and Hyalopterous Lemure allows Loot to activate zero-mana power reductions for instant one-shot commander kills. Dense mono-black removal protects the setup, while Grave Titan provides a resilient secondary win condition.
