Deck overview

This deck is a focused aggressive stompy build commanded by Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder, designed to leverage high raw power creatures and multiplicative combat triggers to eliminate opponents through massive bursts of damage. The strategy opens with efficient one- and two-mana acceleration, deploying Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder on Turn 3 and immediately following with oversized threats like Yargle and Multani, Elder Gargaroth, or Ghalta, Primal Hunger. Doubling the power of these attackers creates rapid single-target eliminations, supplemented by fling effects such as Chandra's Ignition, Fling, and Ziatora, the Incinerator to bypass blockers. While the deck boasts immense explosive potential and strong recovery via power-based draw spells like Greater Good and Return of the Wildspeaker, it carries notable strategic vulnerabilities: interactive disruption is virtually nonexistent, protective spells are sparse, and closing out a multiplayer pod requires navigating multiple combat steps without built-in board wipe insurance.
