Deck overview

This Grixis amass deck is built to turn Sauron, the Dark Lord's ring-temptation card advantage into one enormous Army. The primary plan is to deploy amass pieces, keep the same Army growing through Saruman, the White Hand, then push for lethal with double strike, niche unblockable, or direct damage. Secondary paths use the Sauron legends for recursion and threat mass, while treasure support from Smaug and Spiteful Banditry supplies fixing and extra reach. The commander's main job is a protected draw engine: when the Army hits, the Ring tempts you and Sauron swaps a dead hand for four cards. Saruman, the White Hand functions as the hidden second commander, turning every noncreature spell into Army size.
