Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by The Wise Mothman, executing a hybrid strategy of radiation attrition, mill, and explosive +1/+1 counter beatdown. Early turns focus on establishing two-mana ramp to deploy the commander on Turn 3. As radiation counters accumulate on every player, opponents mill cards and lose life during their upkeeps, triggering Mothman to distribute massive quantities of +1/+1 counters across your board. Counter amplifiers such as Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, and Doubling Season rapidly accelerate board power, while Herald of Secret Streams provides evasion to push lethal combat damage. The deck features secondary win conditions including Bruvac the Grandiloquent combined with Maddening Cacophony to mill entire libraries in one shot. Defensively, the list relies on instant-speed board protection and graveyard recursion to maintain resilience against opposing sweepers.
