Commander: Cosmic Spider-Man

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Spider tribal deck helmed by Cosmic Spider-Man, whose combat anthem grants every other Spider flying, first strike, trample, lifelink, and haste. The deck leans heavily into a discard-draw engine - Spider-Gwen, Free Spirit, Green Goblin, Revenant, Astonishing Spider-Man, and Iceman and Firestar all convert discards into cards and triggers - while a Hero/Villain subtheme (Madame Hydra, Decoy Ploy, Avengers Tower) adds incidental value. The primary win is combat: flood the board with Spiders, drop the commander, and swing with an evasive, lifelinking swarm backed by Impact Tremors and Raid Bombardment pings. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through incremental board presence and keyworded attacks. Its main structural issues are a mana base that lacks Islands and Forests, making the WUBRG commander awkward to cast, and a near-total absence of stack interaction.
