Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana dorks on the first two turns, followed by aggressive, over-statted creatures like Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull. By accumulating 10 or more total creature power on the board by Turn 3 or 4, the deck reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters as a 12/12 trampler, power-matters card draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise refill the hand to maintain momentum. The deck closes games through relentless combat damage, amplified by stat multipliers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While exceptionally fast at deploying massive battlefield pressure, the deck lacks stack interaction, dedicated tutors, and board-wide wipe protection, leaving its combat clock vulnerable to timely removal and sweepers across multiple opponent response cycles.
