Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius tempo and draw-engine strategy led by Willie Lumpkin, Postman. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost, unblockable attackers and attaching curiosity-style enchantments such as Curiosity, Combat Research, and Staggering Insight to generate an early card advantage stream. Drawing multiple cards each turn activates powerful payoff creatures and enchantments, including Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Mischievous Mystic, Homunculus Horde, and Ominous Seas, which steadily construct an evasive token army. Concurrently, defensive measures like Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, and Willie's built-in combat pacification deter opponents from attacking. With a steady flow of fresh cards, the deck maintains reactive interaction through efficient counterspells and removal such as Swords to Plowshares and An Offer You Can't Refuse. Once the token swarm or card-draw engines reach critical mass around Turn 6, the deck converts its accumulated board presence into a decisive combat finish over two response cycles.
