Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combo-control build commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. Its central game plan leverages Queza's triggered ability to convert every card draw into life drain and life gain. The deck accelerates through high-quality mana fixing and deploys potent card advantage engines such as Rhystic Study and The One Ring. On Turn 5, it looks to resolve a two-card infinite loop using Lich's Mastery or Drogskol Reaver. Each life gain trigger prompts a card draw, and each card draw triggers Queza to drain opponents and gain life, looping until the table is eliminated. The combo turn is guarded by low-cost and free interaction, including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Grand Abolisher, and Silence. If Queza is unavailable, independent win conditions like Psychosis Crawler, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Laboratory Maniac easily close out the game through mass wheel effects.
