Deck overview

This is a Gruul token-swarm deck built around Thromok the Insatiable's devour ability. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap token generators, then cast Thromok devouring a large pile to make him a 30-100 power monster, and one-shot the table with power-based burn like Chandra's Ignition, Fling, or Soul's Fire - or close via commander damage through haste enablers like Rhythm of the Wild, Anger, and Haunted Cloak. Secondary win conditions include Terror of the Peaks and Warstorm Surge converting the token swarm into direct damage, Stalking Vengeance punishing sacrifices, and landfall value engines like Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, and Scute Swarm. The deck is a classic "big number" Gruul strategy with heavy redundancy in its token role and multiple independent payoffs, so it keeps functioning even if any single piece is answered.
