Deck overview

This mono-green deck maximizes mana velocity and aggressive creature efficiency to exploit the cost-reduction mechanic of Ghalta, Primal Hunger. In the early turns, the list deploys low-cost mana dorks and severely over-statted creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. This rapidly establishes 10 to 12 power on the battlefield, enabling Ghalta to enter as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Once assembled, the deck translates its massive board presence into card advantage through power-4+ draw triggers like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. Combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth allow the deck to trample over blockers and eliminate opponents in rapid succession. While highly resilient against single-target removal due to independent high-stat redundancy, the deck remains vulnerable to board wipes and lacks stack interaction to contest opposing fast combos.
