Otrimi: Mutate by FunkyWatermelon

Format: Commander

Commander: Otrimi, the Ever-Playful

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai mutate-value deck built around Otrimi, the Ever-Playful, with the goal of concentrating several mutate creatures into one large merged permanent and turning that pile into a recurring, trampling engine. Otrimi is almost never hard-cast; his {1}{B}{G}{U} mutate cost is the primary route, letting him land on any non-Human base as early as turn 4. Mutate triggers from Auspicious Starrix, Insatiable Hemophage, Boneyard Lurker, and the rest generate free permanents, life-drain, recursion, and removal, while Otrimi's combat trigger returns key mutate cards from the graveyard for another pass. Brokkos, Apex of Forever effectively acts as a second commander, and Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief with Vesuvan Duplimancy multiply the pile. The primary win is combat damage from a large, protected trampler backed by repeated Hemophage drains; there are no infinite combos, so the deck wins through incremental value and board recursion rather than a compact kill.
