Deck overview

This Boros midrange deck uses Quintorius, History Chaser as both an engine and an anthem finisher. The strategy centers on triggering Quintorius's passive ability—creating a 3/2 Spirit creature token whenever one or more cards leave the graveyard—by utilizing rummage effects, discard-to-exile engines, escape mechanics, and recurring permanents. Early turns focus on deploying mana rocks and card-flow engines like Containment Construct, Conspiracy Theorist, and Currency Converter. Once Quintorius resolves on Turn 4, its +1 ability fuels the graveyard while drawing fresh resources and producing Spirit tokens. The deck transitions into an aggressive wide board, leveraging anthem effects from Hofri Ghostforge and Balefire Liege or Quintorius's −4 loyalty ability to grant double strike and vigilance. While vulnerable to mass exile and lacking stack interaction, the deck maintains high redundancy through heavy recursion from cards like Sun Titan and Sevinne's Reclamation.
