Deck overview

This competitive Commander deck is a tuned cEDH Yuriko tempo and stax build designed to apply lethal table-wide burn while maintaining an ironclad grip on interaction. The primary game plan executes on Turn 1 by casting a low-cost, evasive enabler like Changeling Outcast or Ornithopter, followed by a Turn 2 Commander Ninjutsu activation to put Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow onto the battlefield uncounterably and without paying commander tax. As Yuriko and secondary Ninjas connect, combat triggers draw cards and reveal high-mana value spells such as Shadow of Mortality, Temporal Trespass, and Dig Through Time, dealing massive direct life loss to all opponents simultaneously. The deck breaks parity on asymmetric stax pieces like Cursed Totem and Grafdigger's Cage, locking out creature activated abilities and graveyard combos while operating entirely on combat triggers and free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Despair.
