Neyali, Boros

Format: Commander

Commander: Neyali, Suns' Vanguard

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Neyali, Suns' Vanguard is a Boros token-aggro commander who makes every attacking token a double-striking threat and turns token attacks into free cards through her exile-play ability. The deck's primary plan is to flood the board with cheap token makers, pump that army with anthems, and finish with extra combat or large token sorceries. A secondary direct-damage package (Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, Purphoros, God of the Forge) punishes token creation and can win when the combat step is stymied. Aurelia, the Warleader and Finale of Glory are the most explosive closers. There is no hidden commander; the build is a straightforward wide-go strategy with enough card draw and protection to grind through midrange and control.
