Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu combat-aggro build led by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The strategy revolves around deploying efficient creatures and enchantments with attack triggers, then using Isshin's doubling ability to generate overwhelming token armies and burn damage in a single combat phase. Key token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Hero of Bladehold, and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon flood the battlefield, while direct damage engines such as Impact Tremors, Hellrider, Brutal Hordechief, and Corpse Knight convert attacking triggers and creature entries into rapid life loss for all opponents. The deck features dense low-cost mana acceleration to establish its board on curve by Turn 4 and launch lethal pressure by Turn 5. While the deck boasts immense redundancy in combat payoffs, it lacks tutors, countermagic, and instant-speed board protection. Consequently, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and requires careful timing to finish the table before opponents stabilize.
