Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet artifact midrange deck piloted by Breeches, the Blastmaker. It aims to assemble a dense web of cheap artifacts, cost reducers, and token generators to overwhelm the table through combat swarm and direct damage. The game plan starts by deploying low-cost utility artifacts and cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Chief Engineer, setting up Breeches or Sai, Master Thopterist by Turn 4. Triggering Breeches with two spells per turn converts expendable artifacts into spell copies or direct burn, while cards like Ichor Wellspring and Scrap Trawler maintain steady card flow. On Turn 6, the deck shifts from setup to lethal pressure by dropping major payoffs such as Depthshaker Titan, Kappa Cannoneer, or Master of Etherium. These threats transform an army of Thopters and Servos into a lethal combat force, closing the game across Turns 7 and 8 while utilizing Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer and efficient counterspells for board defense.
