Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange strategy built around Tyranids, +1/+1 counters, and scalable X-spells. It aims to spend the early turns accelerating mana with low-cost ramp spells and mana dorks such as Biophagus and Gyre Sage. By Turn 4, it deploys key counter enablers like Master Biomancer, Magus Lucea Kane, or Arwen, Weaver of Hope. In the midgame, the deck casts massive Ravenous Tyranids and high-impact threats like Old One Eye, Railway Brawler, and Winged Hive Tyrant, building an overwhelming board presence. The Swarmlord sits in the command zone as a resilient payoff, growing with each cast and refilling your hand whenever modified creatures die. The deck closes games through decisive combat steps backed by trample, flying, and instant-speed protection like Inspiring Call and Tyrant Guard.
