Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Izzet Coin-Flip and Spellslinger Voltron deck commanded by Yusri, Fortune's Flame. The strategy focuses on accelerating Yusri onto the battlefield early to generate substantial card advantage through 5-coin attack triggers. Key enablers like Krark's Thumb boost flip success rates to 75%, while Tavern Scoundrel converts won flips into massive bursts of Treasure mana. To counteract Yusri's self-inflicted damage on lost flips, the deck equips lifelink via Shadowspear, Basilisk Collar, and Witch's Clinic. The deck closes games by leveraging swollen hand sizes into lethal combat damage using Empyrial Plate, Psychosis Crawler, and Blackblade Reforged, amplified across all opponents with Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Chandra's Ignition, or by swarming the board with The Locust God. A robust suite of cheap countermagic and spot removal defends the board while Yusri outpaces opponents in card economy.
