Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Landfall engine deck commanded by Omnath, Locus of the Roil. It focuses on accelerating land drops using cheap enablers like Exploration, Lotus Cobra, and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, rapidly building a massive mana base while drawing through the library with engines like Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The deck transitions into winning positions on Turn 5 by resolving explosive mass-landfall cards like Scapeshift and Splendid Reclamation, finding win conditions such as Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and Field of the Dead, or swarming the board with Avenger of Zendikar and Scute Swarm. It also features an infinite copy combo with Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror for an immediate hasty flying assault. The deck possesses exceptional engine recovery and card velocity, though it relies heavily on permanent-based boards that are vulnerable to sweepers.
