12 - Garna $400 budget by user7305400

Format: Commander

Commander: Garna, the Bloodflame

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos aristocrats/reanimator list built around Garna, the Bloodflame, who provides a flash-based mass recursion effect that returns all creatures that died that turn to your hand. The primary game plan is to use sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar to generate value from creature deaths, fueling drain effects (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mayhem Devil), card draw (Midnight Reaper, Grim Haruspex), and mana (Pitiless Plunderer, Pawn of Ulamog). The deck assembles a multi-card infinite loop (Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer + Pawn of Ulamog + Reassembling Skeleton) to produce infinite death triggers and kill the table. Backup wins come from Living Death mass reanimation and Purphoros, God of the Forge-style ETB damage. The commander isn't required for the combo but dramatically improves recovery and burst speed by rebuying sacrificed creatures.
