Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari graveyard reanimator strategy that pairs self-mill and earthbend land animation with high-power sacrifice payoffs under Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. The main game plan accelerates mana and rapidly fills the graveyard using premier dredge engines like Golgari Grave-Troll, Stinkweed Imp, and Life from the Loam. Once high-power creatures such as Lord of Extinction or Doomgape are in the graveyard, the deck uses efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead to return them to play. With Jarad on the battlefield, sacrificing these massive creatures deals lethal life loss to every opponent simultaneously, bypassing combat steps and blockers. Supporting elements leverage earthbend mechanics to turn lands into resilient attackers and sacrifice fodder, while tutors like Jarad's Orders and Demonic Tutor ensure reliable assembly. While weak to dedicated graveyard hate, the deck features strong recursion and dependable combat backup lines.
