Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Voltron Control deck commanded by Shay Cormac. The game plan revolves around casting Shay early on Turn 2, then systematically removing opposing creatures with cheap targeted removal spells like Murder, Snuff Out, and Feed the Swarm. Whenever you target an opponent's creature, Shay applies a bounty counter, and when that creature dies, Shay permanently gains two +1/+1 counters. Over several turn cycles, Shay grows from a modest 1/1 into an imposing combat threat. You defend Shay with an abundant suite of 1-mana and 2-mana protection spells, such as Gods Willing, Shelter, and Armor of Shadows, while using his {1} activated ability to strip hexproof, ward, and indestructible from opposing blockers.
