Deck overview

This is a mono-blue Wizard-tempo/control deck built around Gadwick, the Wizened. Gadwick serves as both a draw spell and a reusable one-sided tap engine: each blue spell taps a nonland permanent, letting the deck keep blockers and attackers offline while it accumulates cards. The primary plan is to land token engines Talrand, Sky Summoner and Murmuring Mystic, then churn through instants and sorceries, generating flying tokens and answering opposing boards with bounce and tap effects. Triskaidekaphile is the hidden commander and alternate win condition: if the deck reaches thirteen cards in hand at upkeep, it wins immediately. Beatdown from drakes, Hall of Storm Giants, Tolarian Terror, and Cyclone Summoner closes games when the alternate win is unavailable.
