Deck overview

This mono-blue tempo deck is led by Namor the Sub-Mariner, turning noncreature blue spells into an expanding army of 1/1 Merfolk tokens while growing Namor's flying power. The deck curves smoothly from early Merfolk utility into Turn 3 Namor, followed by a mix of blue cantrips, enchantments, and countermagic. Tribal lords such as Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident grant islandwalk and stat boosts, transforming small tokens into lethal, unblockable attackers. Rich countermagic protects the board while simultaneously generating creature tokens through Namor's triggered ability. The primary win condition is evasive combat damage distributed across consecutive turns, supplemented by a high-end infinite turn combo with Wanderwine Prophets and Deeproot Pilgrimage. While vulnerable to mass sweepers, the deck maintains steady recovery and strong tempo control.
