Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir combat-tempo deck built around Satoru Umezawa. The primary game plan establishes cheap, unblockable attackers on early turns, casts Satoru on Turn 3, and utilizes ninjutsu on Turn 4 to bypass normal casting costs and cheat enormous game-ending threats into play tapped and attacking. Payoffs like Blightsteel Colossus deliver instant knockouts via infect, while Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur and Void Winnower impose crippling stax locks. High-efficiency counterspells and free interaction defend the board, while an incidental infinite mana line with Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake provides alternate late-game inevitability. The list balances aggressive tempo pressure with resilient Dimir control tools.
