Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos group-slug and combo strategy built around Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The primary goal is to assemble Ob Nixilis alongside continuous single-damage sources like Roiling Vortex, Manabarbs, or Burning Earth, generating steady +1/+1 counters and massive impulse card flow across opponent turns. The deck converts this resource advantage into a decisive Turn 5 win using infinite damage combos such as All Will Be One or Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute, which loop triggers until every opponent is eliminated. It controls the battlefield with an extensive suite of low-cost board sweepers like Toxic Deluge and The Meathook Massacre, while protecting its key pieces with efficient redirection spells including Bolt Bend and Imp's Mischief. Even without its primary combo, the heavy punisher stax and massive commander pressure grind opponents down swiftly.
