Ratonhnhake ton is an Esper voltron commander whose first hit is nearly guaranteed: it has hexproof and can't be blocked until it has dealt damage. The deck layers cheap evasion Equipment (Brotherhood Regalia, My Precious, Swiftfoot Boots) with high-impact Equipment (Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, Genji Glove) to turn that first hit into lethal commander damage. Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist operates as a hidden commander: its free every-beginning-of-combat attach trigger is the core engine for suiting up without paying Equip costs. The deck also leverages Ratonhnhake ton's combat trigger to create Assassin tokens and recur Equipment from the graveyard, supported by Assassin tribal payoffs (Ezio, Layla Hassan, Achilles Davenport, Ramses) to keep drawing and apply pressure.
