Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos combat deck commanded by Ares, God of War with Obosh, the Preypiercer as a companion. Built entirely with odd mana values and lands, the strategy deploys low-cost deathtouch and evasive creatures in the opening turns, casting Ares on Turn 3. Ares forces aggressive combat while providing insurance by returning any attacking creature that dies back to its owner's hand. In the mid-game, the deck leverages damage multipliers like Obosh and Berserkers' Onslaught, paired with extra combat steps from Combat Celebrant and Port Razer, to deal lethal bursts of combat damage. While it lacks instant-speed stack interaction and defensive protection spells, its high density of aggressive threats and recurring attackers allows it to pressure life totals quickly.
