Commander: Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale is the center of a Mardu Knights-and-Equipment deck that chains cheap equipment on evasive, vigilant Knights and turns attacks into cards. The primary plan is to assemble Aggravated Assault plus Sword of Feast and Famine plus The Reaver Cleaver on Syr Gwyn, then loop combat while drawing into more equipment. Secondary paths are large one-shot kills with Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, or Embercleave on a protected Knight, and Knight beatdown with Valiant Knight/Fervent Champion and Akroma's Will. The commander is both the draw engine and the free-equip enabler; there is no hidden commander, but the equipment tutor/cheat package acts as a second engine.
