Deck overview

Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients leads a Gruul engine that punishes damage and dice rolls. The primary plan is to put Vrondiss on the battlefield alongside Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, Terror of the Peaks, or Warstorm Surge, then trigger a single self-damage effect (such as Rile) to generate an infinite loop of 5/4 Dragon Spirit tokens and burn opponents. A secondary beatdown route uses Atarka World Render and Thrakkus to turn the dragon army into lethal, and treasures from Old Gnawbone and Ancient Copper Dragon fuel large sorceries like Overwhelming Stampede. There is no official hidden commander, but dice-matter support like Wyll, Blade of Frontiers and Barbarian Class accelerate the primary loop. The deck is aggressive but leans heavily on its commander to produce the token engine.
