Commander: Wolverine, Best There Is

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul +1/+1 counters deck built around Wolverine, Best There Is, a commander that doubles all damage it deals and gradually grows through combat. The primary game plan is to deploy a dense package of counter doublers-Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Primal Vigor, Innkeeper's Talent, and others-to rapidly scale a single creature (often the commander) into a lethal threat. The deck then leverages Wolverine's double damage, trample enablers, and fight spells to clear blockers and close out games via commander damage or massive trample swings. There are no infinite combos; the deck relies on incremental value, combat inevitability, and the synergy of its counter engine to overwhelm opponents.
