Tyrants of Jund by Buddadragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Jund Dragon tribal strategy centered around Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund. The primary game plan is to utilize green-based ramp and cost-reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman to deploy high-impact, evasive threats ahead of the curve. Karrthus serves as a massive top-end finisher, providing immediate haste to the entire board to facilitate lethal combat swings. The deck leverages powerful "enters" triggers from cards like Dragon Tempest, Warstorm Surge, and Terror of the Peaks (implied by the synergy, though specifically Dragon Tempest and Warstorm Surge are present) to weaponize the high power of its creatures. While primarily a combat-focused deck, it features significant token generation through Dragon Broodmother and Parallel Lives, alongside a robust suite of Jund removal to clear the path for its apex predators.
