Deck overview

Baylen, the Haymaker leads a high-velocity Naya token swarm deck designed to convert board presence directly into mana, cards, and lethal combat damage. The strategy deploys cheap token generators early, such as Hop to It, Gilded Goose, and Tireless Provisioner, then casts Baylen to turn those tokens into an active engine. Baylen taps tokens without tapping itself, providing mana ramp and repeatable card draw to dig into game-ending payoffs. Critical onset arrives around Turn 5 when the deck deploys massive force multipliers like Beastmaster Ascension, Warleader's Call, Arabella, Abandoned Doll, or an overloaded March of the Multitudes. The deck defends its wide boards using an extensive suite of protection spells, including Boros Charm, Flare of Fortitude, and Guardian of Faith. While vulnerable to repeated sweepers and lacking proactive stax, the deck recovers quickly through deep card draw and redundant token generators, closing games on Turn 6.
