Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov token aristocrats build led by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. The strategy weaponizes symmetrical token generation by gifting tokens to opponents and copying them while draining the table. The deck ramps cleanly through Orzhov mana rocks, lands, and explosive token engines like Smothering Tithe and Pitiless Plunderer, establishing an active engine by Turn 4. From there, deep card-draw anchors such as Skullclamp, The One Ring, and Caretaker's Talent supply steady resources. On Turn 6, the deck presents game-ending pressure through mass-drain enablers like Tombstone Stairwell, Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, or Awaken the Erstwhile. These pieces deal rapid, unblockable life loss across every upkeep and end step, finishing the table in a single response cycle by Turn 7. The deck defends itself effectively against combat damage using versatile fogs like Inkshield and Batwing Brume, while using removal spells that gift tokens to fuel its own drain triggers.
