Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal and aristocrats deck commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The primary game plan revolves around generating recursive Zombie tokens, sacrificing non-decayed creatures for card advantage, and draining opponents through aristocrat payoffs. In the early game, the deck establishes mana rocks and low-cost Zombies such as Cryptbreaker and Gravecrawler. By turn 4, Wilhelt enters to convert dying Zombies into decayed tokens while refilling the hand. In the mid-to-late game, the deck scales into powerful board states using Necroduality, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, and The Scarab God, or executes a combo finish with Rooftop Storm, Carrion Feeder, and Diregraf Captain. Interaction includes efficient countermagic, targeted removal, and one-sided creature wipes with Noxious Ghoul. The deck features strong graveyard recursion and resiliency, though it remains vulnerable to early graveyard hate and heavy enchantment removal.
