Gain by SpagNoodle

Format: Commander

Commander: Firesong and Sunspeaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Firesong and Sunspeaker is a Boros spells/lifegain control deck. The primary plan is to cast Firesong, then convert red instant/sorcery damage into lifegain while white lifegain spells trigger 3-damage pings. Damage doublers and copy effects turn single Helix effects into huge swings. Secondary paths are Toralf, God of Fury plus board wipes to chain lethal excess damage, and alt-win finishes from Felidar Sovereign or Test of Endurance once life is high. Toralf is the hidden combo commander; his Hammer face is only incidental removal. The commander is the engine, but the deck can still threaten through Gisela, Torbran, and reflectors.
