Commander: Nico Minoru, Runaway

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An exile-casting mono-red deck that converts 'cast from anywhere other than your hand' into a table-wide burn clock. Nico Minoru is both payoff and tutor: her activated ability exiles a nonland card and free-casts it, triggering her drain trigger, while the rest of the deck sustains that loop with impulse draw, cascade, and treasure generation. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around her single face. Secondary paths use combat payoffs like Etali, Goldspan Dragon, and Laelia to produce mana and extra casts. The commander is the primary engine, but the deck has enough independent exile-cast payoffs, such as Keeper of Secrets, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Unstable Amulet, and Passionate Archaeologist, to keep functioning if she is removed. A big turn chains several free or cheap spells from exile, amplified by Ojer Axonil and Fiery Emancipation.
