Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses Ghalta, Primal Hunger to convert high-power, low-mana creatures into early commander deployment. By curving 1-mana ramp into oversized 3-mana threats such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Rhonas the Indomitable, or Tangleweave Armor, the deck reduces Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana by turn 4. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield, massive power-scaling draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise and Return of the Wildspeaker refill the hand with 12 cards at once. Combat power doublers such as Unnatural Growth and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus turn Ghalta into a one-shot lethal attacker, eliminating opponents in sequence. The deck includes resilient recovery tools like The Skullspore Nexus and repeatable creature fight triggers via Apex Altisaur to maintain control of the board. While it lacks stack interaction and remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes, its raw mana efficiency and massive card draw provide overwhelming combat inevitability.
