Deck overview

This Abzan deck uses 24 Shadowborn Apostles and 10 Templar Knights as tutors to cheat Demons and legendary artifacts onto the battlefield. Thrumming Stone gives all spells ripple 4, so one Apostle or Knight can cascade into several more and quickly assemble the six Apostles or five attacking Knights needed. Karador, Ghost Chieftain acts as repeatable graveyard recursion, letting you recast creatures and rebuild after board wipes. Once a Demon like Razaketh or Bloodletter of Aclazotz is in play, the deck wins through combat with large Demons, a doubled Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate, or Liliana's Contract with four different Demons. Secondary value comes from Bolas's Citadel, The Immortal Sun, and Krav.
