Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Kaalia of the Vast cheat-in deck that weaponizes her attack trigger to dump Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The plan is straightforward: ramp into Kaalia, protect her, and convert each swing into a free high-impact permanent-extra-combat engines like Aurelia, the Warleader, Bloodthirster, and Scourge of the Throne, damage amplifiers such as Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Terror of the Peaks, or lock pieces like Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Archfiend of Depravity. Sneak Attack and Hellkite Courser provide alternate deployment lines when Kaalia is unavailable. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, often chaining multiple combats in a single turn, rather than tight infinite combos. Recursion and protection are present but lean; the list leans on raw threat quality and a respectable instant-speed interaction suite to close games before the table stabilizes.
