Fantasy Rhys by LasdalMerzim

Format: Commander

Commander: Rhys the Redeemed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a token-populate/Voltron deck piloted by Rhys the Redeemed. The goal is to go wide: Rhys creates one Elf Warrior token whenever he enters, and the deck's populate effects (Sundering Growth, Druid's Deliverance, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, Second Harvest) double and triple the token army under Cathars' Crusade and anthem effects. You're trying to win by one massive life-swinging combat turn through Finale of Glory/Finale of Devastation plus the suite of anthems: Exalted Sunborn, Intangible Virtue, Beastmaster Ascension pumped by Marwyn, the Nurturer, and going far over the top with Mentor of the Meek. Against the Coat of Arms and multilayered protection suite (Flawless Maneuver, Mother of Runes, serpent's skin veil, Silence, Loran's Escort), the deck seeks to push its tokens through one giant game-winning swing.
