Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a Wraith/Knight attrition deck built around the ring-tempts mechanic. The primary plan is to stack Nazgul triggers to grow a wide Wraith army, with the Witch-king as a defensive flyer and secondary beater. The hidden commander is Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, who lets you recast Knight spells from the graveyard; combined with Culling the Weak and a Nazgul, he creates an infinite mana/counter loop that finishes through Bontu's Monument, Ayara, or Syr Konrad. Reanimation and black draw spells keep the pieces coming. The deck is resilient in grind but has no stack interaction and is vulnerable to artifact-based graveyard hate.
