Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger-token deck. The commander, Rootha, Mastering the Moment, is not a spell copyist; she turns high-mana instants and sorceries into X/X flying haste Elementals. The primary plan is to cast or copy expensive spells to create a huge token, then multiply it with Brudiclad, Rionya, Twinflame, or Rite of Replication, and close with Full Throttle or World at War. Rootha, Mercurial Artist sits in the 99 as a hidden spell-copier. Brudiclad is the secondary hidden commander, converting every token, even Treasures, into copies of the largest token. The deck has no infinite combo; it wins by overwhelming combat.
