Deck overview

This Selesnya deck uses lifegain to fuel Aerith, Last Ancient and turn life into board advantage. It builds a wide board of tokens and legendary creatures, then converts life gained into +1/+1 counters through Lathiel, Juniper Order Ranger, and Haliya. Aerith recurs creatures from the graveyard each end step when you gain life, and returns them directly to the battlefield if you gain seven or more. Odric, Lunarch Marshal and Odric, Master Tactician share keywords and control blocks, while Myrel and Brigid generate soldiers. Wins come from combat overruns with Overwhelming Stampede, Return of the Wildspeaker, or Gavony Township, not from combos. The deck grinds through recursion and card draw rather than assembling a single piece.
