Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Knight tribal and Equipment midrange strategy commanded by Cecil, Dark Knight // Cecil, Redeemed Paladin. In the early turns, the deck deploys low-cost Knights, Equipment, and self-damaging draw spells to curve out and quickly lower your life total to 20 or below. Once transformed into Cecil, Redeemed Paladin, Cecil provides a 4/4 lifelink body that grants your entire attacking team indestructible. Midgame turns leverage anthem engines like The Circle of Loyalty, keyword sharing with Odric, Lunarch Marshal, and evasion from Dion, Bahamut's Dominant // Bahamut, Warden of Light to turn an army of Knights into an overwhelming combat force. Secondary lifegain and attrition payoffs such as Sanguine Bond, Exsanguinate, and Smitten Swordmaster // Curry Favor provide non-combat reach. Strong recursion from Court of Ardenvale and Squall, SeeD Mercenary ensures resilience against opposing removal.
