Ureni of the Unwritten Cheque (B4) by sgnl

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Temur Dragon tribal ramp deck helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten, a 7-mana Spirit Dragon that cheats a Dragon from the top eight cards of the library onto the battlefield on both ETB and attack. The plan is to accelerate into Ureni, then snowball free high-impact Dragons while payoff enchantments (Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, Temur Ascendancy) convert every entry into damage, cards, and haste. Secondary engines include Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm token copies, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient attack-mana into Aggravated Assault extra combats, and Scourge of the Throne dethrone chains. The deck wins through airborne combat, ETB burn, and the occasional infinite-combat loop rather than stack-based combos. Ureni is the primary access engine; without it the deck still hardcasts Dragons under cost reducers, but far more slowly.
