Deck overview

This deck is a 4-color non-green midrange control deck built around Nissa, Leyline Tamer. By eschewing green ramp, it relies on dense 2-CMC artifact acceleration across Azorius, Dimir, Rakdos, and Boros to ramp into Nissa ahead of curve. Once Nissa hits the board on Turn 5 or 6, any land drop draws a card and puts a massive creature onto the battlefield for free. The threat suite is stacked with format-warping bombs, including Archon of Cruelty, Consecrated Sphinx, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Magister Sphinx. Secondary lines feature token makers like Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion acting as polymorph fodder for Mass Polymorph, Proteus Staff, and Synthetic Destiny. Robust removal and defensive sweepers allow the deck to control the pace of the game until its evasive threats close it out.
