Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Golgari combo and creature-storm list centered on Witherbloom, the Balancer. By filling the early board with efficient 1-mana mana dorks and utility creatures, the deck rapidly discounts its 8-mana commander down to {B}{G} via creature affinity. Once Witherbloom enters the battlefield, every instant and sorcery gains affinity for creatures, reducing high-impact spells to single-mana costs. The primary win condition utilizes Sprout Swarm, which costs only {G} with buyback under affinity and can be repeatedly convoked by newly created summoning-sick Saprolings for an infinite army. The deck also operates multiple top-tier cEDH backup lines including Ad Nauseam, Razaketh, the Foulblooded reanimation, and Chatterfang, Squirrel General aristocrat combos. Robust protection like Veil of Summer and Allosaurus Shepherd defends critical closing turns, while Collector Ouphe and Opposition Agent disrupt opposing game plans.
